Thanks for your response, I really didn't think it was a NSAIDS since I sat right there and told my Dr that I couldn't take NSAIDS, surely he wouldn't have written me a RX for one, LOL  I'm glad to know others are taking it too.

Yup yup yup.  Take it quite often, actually. Tramadol is an opiod, not an NSAID, and it's *not* tylenol-based.  50mg is not a strong med, and sometimes I take two.  It *can* make you a bit loopy, so be sure to take it at home first just to make sure you react well to it. If it doesn't work, there are quite a few different meds you can try that are also opiods that might help.  I live with chronic pain, so I know these meds pretty well.

Thanks Andrea, I've taken hydrocodone in the past for pain but only occasionally so I'm hoping this works as well, especially since it's time for aunt flo and I have the worse cramps ever now.

Debi, I used to take tramadol for my arthritis.  I found that it worked better if I took one every 12 hours every day.  I no longer need it because I take Plaquenil for my arthritis and have no more pain.  Good luck with getting relief from your pain.

Thanks Lynn, My Dr said take 1-2 every 4-6 hours for pain, I haven't taken one yet but will this after noon after I swim. I'm hoping it works for cramps too because it's time for aunt flo and I'm cramping to death.

Hi Val, I hope you're feeling better, I'm praying for you. My Dr said it was fine to take them but I still haven't tried them yet, hubby & I are going to the movies and I'm afraid they might make me sleepy so I'm going to take one after. Thanks for letting me know.

Hi, Debi, I live close to Emory, TX...close to Lake Fork and work in downtown Dallas.  Have you visited the Texas Message Board?  Sincerely, Nancygp Texans

Hi Nancy, I do read the Tx boards but not as often as I do the RNY & MAIN boards. I try to read it every couple of days, I mostly read OH while I'm at work at night. I've heard of Emory but not sure where it's at. I'm used to our small town so I get lost easy but I do go to Dallas if I know where I'm going, like the malls, LOL  I hope you have a great Sunday, God Bless, Debi
