Nothing sounds good or tastes good
I had a stomach virus yesterday and was up all night in the bathroom. I feel better today and went to work but I have no desire to eat anything. I did have a protien shake for breakfast and fish for lunchand two bites of chicken for supper and couldn't do anymore.... I have to make myself eat. I had a goal 2 months ago as I am going to AZ to see my best friend July 23, so I wanted to be down to 160lbs....... well as of this morning I am 162... I am excited I know I will make my goal in three weeks. My weight loss has slowed way down but I think that is normal when you are 22 from goal!!! I hopeit is anyway! I am still going to the gym 5 days a week and working out like crazy! People are saying I don't need to loose any more but that makes me want to loose more just to show them and besides i want to weigh 140 one more time!!!!!
Hey Macy, Boy can I relate.... I'm only 1mo out from lap rny. I've tried to eat out 3 times ordering kids broiled chicken and green beans. Got diarrehea each time. Went back to surgeon for 1 mo post op and he said that it was not dumping syndrom and he thought I had stomach virus. I have on the commode more times than I can count. Went back to work for the first time yesterday (I'm a letter carrier). Could not make it a full day. Finally went to pcp Dr. and started antibiotics. I'm hoping this will do the trick. I'll now be off all week again. Like you say NOTHING taste good. Became dangerously dehydrated. It took them 5 sticks to finally get blood out of me. Protein shakes and all vit. supp. I've not been able to do all wk. Just a little water and 0 cal liq. I was getting really worried. I've lost 38lbs. but would gladly had given some back to have felt better. Glad to see your doing better and that you'll reach your goal befor your trip. Just wanted you to know your not alone , Misery loves company lol. michele

I had a stomach virus 3 days ago......and I still don't feel like eating much either. I have had a little fish and some saltine crackers with p-nut butter. Other than that I have focused on getting as many liquids in as possible. I was starting to dehydrate.
In order to start feeling better, I took 3 days off of work and stuck the basics. Popsicles, protein water, SF jello, and broth.
You have great motivation. You will reach your goal!
