As a side note:
My nutritionist (as part of the bariatric clinic) told us in our nutrition class that either carbonate or citrate were fine. If we chose carbonate, we needed 2000mg. If we chose citrate we needed 1500mg. When I asked why they'd even recommend carbonate, I was told "Some people can't afford citrate." ..... I wrote a letter to the clinic director, backed up with proof from medical journals that citrate was the only thing that should be recommended for RNY'ers. Now, 10 months later, the only recommendation the nutritionists give is citrate.

Or from my surgeon. A *****eaper buying from the company, though. My multis are from the same company, and also chewable. They don't taste bad, but they ARE tart. And will wake your mouth up in the morning!
