I'm going to cross post this on a few boards.  Those 4-6 months out or more...What foods don't agree with you?  Can some of you share which foods are not your friend?  If you can eat anything, are there certain foods that still don't sit well?  Brian  OH...forgot...PS  For me it's soft serve ice cream (McDonalds, DQ).  Also I can handle pork, but only in small amounts.

I can't do ground beef or pork but a marbled ribeye sits very well lol and chicken is fine too go figure! I cannot do milk whole, 2% or skim but I can eat cheese.  I haven't had any problems with breads although I get filled up really fast and can only eat one slice and I toast it to take some of the moisture out of it for some reason that makes it sit better on my stomach.  I haven't tried ice cream though.  I can't eat alot at one sitting but it seems like I eat every couple of hours because I feel hungry LOL Dr. says that I might not be eating enough and I am waiting for my labs to come back to see where I am at!

I am NOT on a diet!  Diets don't work!  DS!

Eggs - they are evil - some are even called deviled.

Seriously, my egg problem started shortly after surgery and continues to this day - SEVEN years later.  I also don't do well with icecream or really any food that contains high amounts of both sugar and fat - one or the other and I'm OK, both not so much.

I can handle most things now (out 2 years) but absolutely no sugar.  Puts me on the floor with people wanting to call 911.
The two things that will give me some problems sometimes are hamburger, and chicken.  That's it.  Keep a supply of papya enzyme handy and I am good to go.  Great stuff.
But anything with more than 8 gms of sugar................look out.  Dump city!

Papya enzyms are a simple extract in pill form that comes from the papya.  Whenever I start to feel that something is "stuck" or just causing me problems, I take several of these little gems and the problem goes away.  I get my supply at GNC.  Not expensive at all, less that $5.
Works for me.
Good luck,
Paul

Thanks so much, I'll have to get some.  How have you done with your surgery ?  I'm stuck and have been for over 6 weeks.  Still plugging along, but frustrating.  I'm afraid I'm at the end of my loosing. Scary.

Best regards,
Carol !!!

I don't do well with Bread (not such a bad thing)
I agree with you on the Pork thing..I can only eat tiny, tiny amount and it has to be very moist and tender.

I only tried Rice one time and I just don't like it anymore
I have a love/hate relationship with eggs.  Sometimes Rose (my pouch) likes them, sometimes she doesn't.
