Thank you to those who took the time to send your support
My heart goes out to you. I can't imagine having to make such a decision myself, and don't know what I'd have done in the same situation.
If you did think things through, though, and really did feel like that was best thing to do, then try to just think of it that way -- every time you think about it, and leave it at that.
In all things, people really can only do whatever they think was best at the time. If you did that, then you've done all you can.
Focus on your life now, without second-guessing yourself (since that will do no good at this point, anyway) and go forward knowing and confident that you made the best decision you could at the time.
Time, eventually, will heal everything else, even if you may still miss this unborn child, forever.

I truly pray I do not offend you, but since you posted here I am assuming it's ok to ask questions? And this is NOT asked in judgement... I have pleeeeenty of skeletons in my own closet.
I'm curious...were you on birth control?
Did you realize having sex could lead up to an unwanted pregnancy?
How well did you know the father of this child...if you had "just" gotten divorced?
Did the father of the child know about the abortion? What was his reaction to your pregnancy?
If you were already 6 mo out...you would have had another 3 months to go...and at that stage in the game could have successfully and without detrimental cir****tances had the baby. You could have supplemented your nutrition with enough vitamins, liquid protein and regular eating to produce a healthy and happy baby...and you.
I'm sorry but I just do not get it...but will keep you in my thoughts.
