Oh Charlie.....SO NICE TO HEAR FROM YOU!!!! How I have missed seeing your face and your posts!!!! Everytime I've opened the OH site and saw your pic on the home page, I'd wave and say hi.  It's become such a habit that now my husband has taken to wave to you now too!!!!

I am glad to hear that your health is well and you are loving life.  That's how it should be!!!

Life with me is pretty much the same minus riding a lot since I lost my poor horse in December (he was put down, poor boy)~ I have been keeping up with the eatin' good....posts and the regulars have been checking in here and there.  I wish I could say that I have been eating well myself but no......but at least I keep posting and keep trying.  Some day I will reach my goal, I'm certain of it!!!

Anyway....I hope you will be back soon, only when you are ready, because we all miss you and love you!!!!

Take care.....hugs from the burgh!!!
Erin

Good to see you posting and that you are in good spirits.

Thank you so much for posting the stuff about iron.  I was not aware that you could not take it with caffeine or milk products.  I take calcium citrate with Vit D four times a day so this really makes it a challenge.  Maybe it would be best for me to do the iron before bedtime.

Hi Charlie, great to see you are on the mend.
Thanks for the tips re the iron, I am very low in iron, and take it daily but didnt know the rules about when to take it, so hope that helps the absorption!
hugs, Helen

Oh and I forgot to say, I understand how you are feeling re the man.  My husband of 27 years left me for a twenty something that worked in our office.  Talk about a kick in the guts, its been over three years now and Im now coming out of the fog, so you are doing great.

Charlie, it is so good to see that you are getting better.  No one deserves the cards that you have been dealt.

But girl, I gotta say...YIKES!!!  "Left you for a redhead?"  Come on--we aren't all bad!

Charlie, Charlie, Charlie! It was so good to see your post. I missed it originally, but Erin mentioned it in the Eatin' Good thread. She and Robin have been great about keeping it going in your absence. I'm so glad to hear you are on the mend both physically and emotionally. Life is too short to sweat the jerks!

I frequently think about you walking the beach, especially when the weather is near or below zero lately! Someday . . . maybe I'll have a little beach of my own to walk!

Take care and keep in touch.

Connie
