40gs of protein in 20oz of fluids, I was soooo excited. However I can only stomach the blue raspberry ones because they are not sweet and anything sweet is nasty to me.

I can not drink the Isopure I think they taste nasty. Unfortuneately for me I bought mine from GNC and I was only able to buy them in a 6 pack. I had to throw them away they were just to nasty. Really is was not the flavor it was the texture. I purchased the liquid form but it was still to grimey. I even tried mixing it with crystal light. Hope you have better luck.

I am pre-op.  I have tried the apple melon and it was pretty good.  Making it really ice cold really helps!

i like the lemon tea ones, its only 1g of carbs and i think no sugar and if you drink them very cold [lots of ice!] it tastes like regular iced tea

I'm 34 months post op. I've tried both the ready made Isopure in the glass bottles and their powder. The pre made liquids are think, don't taste good, and have bad after taste. I bought 6 different flavors, could not finish one of the bottles over several weeks, and finally threw them all away. I could tolerate the powdered Isopure, but some claim it to be too gritty. Tastes change after surgery, and sensitivity to textures can also be an issue. I still use a generic whey isolate protein, mixed with hot or cold foods--very affordable. I also still use some BariCare, a pre packaged protein with 50 times the RDA of B12 per 20 gr portein servings.  More tips on your post op life on my profile page. DAVE

I was able to sample a bottle of each and some I can't tolerate and some I can.... I like the Mango Peach the best...I still use it on days I need extra protein...I split the bottle in two servings...I can stomach 10oz of anything to get in my protein.....everyone has different tastes and the only way to really know is the try them....if one GNC doesn't sell then in singles then try another...some are corporate stores and some are franchises......

I have been drinking them since I got home from the hospital on Wed. and only because I already bought them and don't want to waste them and they do have 40 grams of protein in one bottle, but like I've heard someone else on this board say..Isopuke!  They leave a grimy flim in your mouth and they're just plain gross, but I'm sippin em cause I have to, LOL!

I tried them and hated them they are awful. Yack.... I also couldn't drink much in the beginnning so I felt like my whole life revolved around trying to get the protein in and I still couldn't drink. I actually had a silly crying jag over them. Then I went to the Vitamin Shoppe and found Pro Complex which is a great protein. 4 oz. water and 1 scoop = 40 gm and 100 in amino acids meaning this is something are bodies can use and we get this actual amount of protein (40 gm.). However the Nut tells us that only 30 are utilized at a time. But 4ounces is an easy amount to get in when you are a newbie.

The Isopure PLUS is way better, IMO.
