I didn't lose any weight from month 6 to month  8.  I FREAKED OUT!  I kept tweaking everything....and nothing worked.  But it did start back up.  I am sure yours will also.  What i found is that I wasn't getting enough calories for the workouts I was doing.  You might try eating a little more if you have really restricted yourself you body could just be pissed.

I would be really helpful if you had your info in your profile filled out, like when you had your surgery, and what kind.  That said, I didn't lose anything from month six until month 12!  Talk about a stall.  I lost another 12 pounds at 12 months out and so far no more than that.

Wow, Linda -- I admire your ability to 'wait out' that stall and keep your focus.

I took my measurements today --- want to be able to check on those when I have 'scale plateau's in the future and hope to see some progress there, when the scale takes time to catch up.

Good for you!!!!!

What type of surgery did you have? For RNY weight loss typically stops at a year to a year and a half.

Not sure how tall your are or what might be considered an "ideal" weight for you. I am 5ft tall and now weigh about 125-130. I am pretty sure I am where I want to be.
Try tracking what you are eating and drinking and your exercise as well.
Whatever you do is it truthful, necessary and kind?

I really don't have an answer for you sorry. I agree that if your doing everything right you should still lose weight, but it doesn't always work that way.  Maybe you need to shake things up a little. Increase your workouts, lower/up your calories. Lower your carbs. i really don't know. Was just given the info that at a year to two years out our bodies adapt to our procedure and we begin to absorb more of what we eat so it become significantly harder. Sorry wish I had better info for you. Best wishes.

Okay....so I don't know how to post this without sounding critical...and I don't want to sound that way at all.  You have done AMAZING!  You should be so proud of yourself.
However, I read what you ate for the day in another post and was curious about your choice in cereals and eating bread?  Maybe you have a few too many carbs going in right now?  You should take another posters advice and write down everything you eat....track your protein, calories, water and carbs.  Maybe you are eating more/less of some things then you think you are?  Also, as stated, the loss on RNY is about 1 year or so.  Sometimes, after that the rest is up to you.  I know that is not what you want to hear.....keep your chin up.
