First bathing suit experience in SEVEN years and after losing 205 lbs !!! (pic)

Good luck on your upcoming surgery !!  It will be here before you know it...and the weight will come off so quickly it'll make your head spin, I bet.  One of the "good" things about starting out at our weight is that we get to see some pretty dramatic losses. 

If you'd like to see some more skin pics, you can look at the ones I have posted in my profile.  I have arms, tummy, thighs, all that good stuff.  Each person is different, but I know when I was early out, I loved seeing "after" pics, so I could at least get some idea of what to expect.

Lori, you look great!

That took a lot of courage! I have a thing about shorts and of course bathing suits.

How did you feel once 'out there'? We you comfortable and drop all of those feelings once  you realized no one was staring?

Once I was at the pool for a little bit, I did get way more comfortable, yes.  I took off the skirt thing - too much trouble - and just walked around in the bathing suit.  Didn't even wrap a towel around myself.  As I looked around and didn't see anyone visibly gawking, I started to feel more bold, I guess.

LOL...I was actually surprised when I looked at the picture to see I was smiling so big.  I had just put on the bathing suit and was in awe, honestly, that I didn't look just hideous!
