Hello Lisa!
Greetings and welcome to the "Sex" board!
We do get into a lot of different topics here!  It is all centered on everyone's favorite topic - SEX!!  In response to your question about hubby's manhood see #6!

In the interest of time I'll give you the SBAAWLS standard response to the most common questions asked here.  This is a cut and paste frequently used reply.  Some will apply to you some will not.  Some of this is directed at men and others at women.  Read and learn.

1.  Most docs recommend waiting two weeks before trying sex post op.  If it hurts - STOP!  The ladies will recommend doggie with a pillow under you.  The hospital administrator will want you to wait till you are out of recovery!

2.  Depending on how your body reacts to the hormone dump that occurs with rapid weight loss your horny level may max out or it may bottom out.  It varies person to person.

3.  If you and your sig other have a good relationship the WLS will not matter but if there are issues then your relationship may be on the rocks.  Going through all the changes with weight loss "opens your eyes" wide to look at other parts of your life too.

4.  Shaved is the preferred standard for coochie/scrotal grooming!!

5.  Feel Good Friday is optional not mandatory!  It is your chance to post pics of things you've done, places you've been etc that made you feel better about yourself.  Example:  at the amusement park with your kids, or at the pool etc.  Used to be called "Lingerie Friday" but a lot of ladies had issues with putting pics of themselves up in lingerie but wanted to play thus the changes.  However anytime you want to post pics of yourself in lingerie then by all means please do!

6.  If you are a male your manhood will appear to be getting larger because of the weight loss.  Been compared to having a 7' post in the ground with 3' buried in the ground.  Take off 18" of soil and Viola!  More post sticking out of the ground!  Unfortunately we can't "grow" any more than what we were blessed with already.  Dammit.

7.  Sorry, but your boobies will deflate.  "Socks with lemons" syndrome.

8.  Yes, you can swallow post op and it won't hurt anything.  After all ********* contains protein!  Approx. 5 grams.

9.  Don't worry about the loose skin that comes with WLS.  If your partner is into you the skin won't matter.  Y'all be too busy getting your freak on to notice!  Loose skin and sagging titties ain't nothin' that can't be fixed with some plastic surgery.

Think that is the majority of the most common questions.   If you have any thing else you want to know toss it out here.

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

First of all no one should listen to Dr. Oz about this.  No one I know who has lost 150-240 pound has gained 6 to 8 inches.  It ain't going to happen.  On average a guy will find an inch  or two of additional usable length, when he loses the fat pad around from the base of his penis.  There may be a slight decrease in girth, but no one has really ever mentioned it before, so it must not have ever ben a problem for anyone.

I have a suggestion.

Why don't you take this question over to the men's board? I'm sure they'll have some answers for you, and you'll really have some fun reading their responses!

obesity related comorbidities(hypertension) can lead to impotence... so at least you can contiue to have sex for a long time. And I don't know about you, but my girl parts have shrunk a lot, so penetration is deeper (graphic, I'm sorry.) I wouldn't be that offended if my husband did lose some inches... but like everyone else said, he should GAIN some length as the fat pad at the base of the penis decreases.

I had the weight loss surgery and am now 99 lbs less....and I feel like my hubby has grown in the "manhood" dept. I guess without all the padding to push against it goes in deeper

Come on over to the sex board.

But,

For every 50lbs of weight a man looses he typically "gains" 1/2" in length to his penis as there is less fat around the base.
