Congrats, glad to hear that you are doing so well.  Remember to take it easy for a while even if you do feel great.  Thanks for sharing.  May the rest of your journey be this painless!
Hope to join you soon and be a looser too.

Thank you Lisa!  I do need that reminder... it's okay to rest.  Looking forward to sharing the bench with you soon!  It's been a good experience so far but I'm not eating yet so that's when I imagine the real "fun" will begin.

Thank you Medley... honestly.... I was scared out of my mind!  But I'm pissed at myself for allowing so many negative thoughts into my mind as I prepared for this surgery.  There was no need for fear at all.  The worst part of the whole ordeal I think was having to sleep in an uncomfortable hospital bed with the gas pressure.  You will be praying for a burp or fart and some ice chips but other than that... you should do well!   I'm keeping the bench warm for you girl... see you next week!  You can do it!

well, I did no shopping on my way home!  I was burping and a total bully when I got home.  I was in so much pain. . .  the pain meds have messed with my memory, it is short tem, but I forgot I went shopping this morning, I thought it was yesterday.  I did not post on the reg blog but I tell ya, the surgery roughed me up. Oh thank heavens I am past the tough part. I had part of my esphogus removed because it was precancerous, I think that is why I had a tough recovery.  I have a lumpy like tube in between my breasts now where they shortened my esophogus.  It feels very strange in deed.  I have made my walking trips, it gets expensive . . .Thanks for keeping the bench warm.  I hope to not have any more periods that cause me to be such a grump.  Stephanie

Congratulations!  I'm glad you're feeling well.  Take care, get some walking in, don't lift anything heavy, and you'll do great.
