Hello amazing WETEO's, so sorry since I have been back to school it has been so crazy I have not had the pleasure of spending more time with all the people I have such tremendous love and respect for.  Here I am just in the door from work and changing clothes to get Seth to his first Fallball baseball game and try to get a bite in somewhere!  WHEW!

The Fast Fixin' omelets are frozen omelets that are really good and a quick breakfast. I found them in the frozen breakfast food section of my local Super Walmart.

As Connie said, you can find them at Super-Walmarts.  I'm sure when Gina get's back on she can post some stats on them.

Your food looks great today!

mmmm... sloppy joe...

I am one week post-op, so am still on a clear liquids diet until next Monday, which starts "The Week of the Egg" as my surgeon's nurses call it.  But I must confess that I cheated last night and today by having a protein shake.  I'm just so sick of broth!  And even the popsicles are getting a little old.    Plus, I actually made a piece of toast yesterday morning, chewed it up and spit it out just so I could taste solid food again.

So what I've "eaten" today is:

1/2 cup of broth
a few sips of Kellogg's Protein Water (pink lemonade)
8-oz. swiss chocolate protein shake

I'm sure I'll have a popsicle a little later, and possibly some more broth.  Today is the first day that I've physically felt hungry (not head hunger, but actual stomach-growling kind of hunger).   I can't believe how empty I feel!  (okay, I know I haven't had solid food in a week & a half, but still!)  I am so tempted to try a soft scrambled egg right now, or a baby spoonful of baby food, but I am going to be good and wait until I have my follow-up appointment with my surgeon on Thursday.  I'm hoping he'll clear me to start on soft foods a little bit sooner.
