3 wks out and 2oz gain
Tomorrow will be 3 weeks for me and I have gained 2 oz. This has been my daily intake for the last week. 3 protein shakes a day with ff milk that is 210cal x 3=660calories protein 32 each so that is 96 grams protein then twice a day I have ff refried beans with cheese(2oz) dont know the calories or proteins for that amount. Water I average about 50 oz. So can anyone help me??
what can I do?? I know this has been asked several times but I wanted to give my daily intake and see what I can do??
At this point I regret getting the surgery!! Maybe my body is unable to lose the weight and now I have to live for vitamins and yucky shakes and still be big!!! Most of my weight loss was with the liquid diet for 2 weeks pre op.
Sorry, I guess I am just trying to figure this out and dont know if depression, regret and slow or no weight loss is all part of the process.

I can tell you from a professional standpoint that your body can't do two things at the same time....it can't lose weight and inches. If you are not losing weight, you most likely are losing inches and this is perfectly normal at 3 weeks out.
When it happened to me, I freaked out completely. Then I put on some clothes and suddenly, they were too big and I couldn't wear them....these same items fit fine just a few days before.
This phase of your journey is just beginning. I agree with the other poster and get off the scale! It is just a number and while we all get caught up in the number, it will really become about how you feel mentally and physically.
Do try to get more water in and watch your caloric intake. My doc had me at about 600 cals per day at 3 weeks out....cream soups made with enriched milk, SF, FF puddings and water/crystal light etc.
Still in doubt? Check in with your nutritionist. They can help you fine tune your menu.
Most of all, relax! It gets better.......

It is very normal to have a stall at 3 weeks out; and it really isn't a stall, just a pause. Your body doesn't like what you have done to it, so is trying to hang on to the weight because it thinks you are starving. Looks like you are getting in a good amount of protein. Maybe up the fluids a little if you can to at least 64 oz. a day. It took me a few months before I trusted that this was really going to work for me. We are so programmed to fail at any weight loss attempts, that it takes awahile to realize we have something that will actually work. Hang in there, the weight loss will start up again.

My weight can fluctuate 3-5lbs per DAY depending on when I jump on the scale, how close to my period I am, etc,
You're still healing from surgery, hide the scale and follow your doctors post op instructions. Reduce stress and you'll do fine.
Good luck!
