Why can't I have SUGAR? (I am 7wks post op RNY)
Have you been on "EggFace's" site...
She has wonderful recipes for WLS patients... they are delicious and very inventive...
Again, thank you for understanding about how I might be feeling...
The "I'll never eat again!" comment has definitely come out of my mouth on more than one occassion during these past seven weeks...
Thanks again,
Lisa

Yes, I love her website, looks soooo good!!! Great ideas! Cleopatra_Nik also!!! She has "fried zucchini" for Heaven's sake!!!! YUM No problem! We aren't always going to do what we should I'm sure, but with good recipes, it might be easier than we think. Cotton candy though, not sure if you can make it sugar free hehehehe
I'm not allowed to eat yet, I'm still pretty early out. However, check out theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com and also Cleopatra_Nik's recipes. They look awesome and people seem to think they are. I've been watching the cooking channel for ideas. As far as dessert goes, I just figure I'd replace the sugar with Truvia or Splenda. It may not work for all recipes but I'm sure there is a work around. Also, I found this website for post surgery recipes:

Eggface makes several desserts that are filled with protein! Ice cream, mini cakes, muffins....I highly recommend reading her blogs!
