There's speculation that the contestants can choose to have plastic surgery done, and most of them choose to do it.

Also, some people have also said that a lot of the men were wearing girdles!

I still love the show. It makes me cry when I watch it because these people are really getting into better shape, whether they keep the weight off or not - it's an emotional process that I can relate to.

They do have loose skin - look a little closer.  Some have had surgery later.  Have you ever noticed that the girls start wearing longer shirts larger in the show.

I noticed that Daniel of this past season finale flexed his muscle pose... He had a lot of skin...
but I have wondered why some of the others don't...
I always assumed it was a "control garment" or PS...

my bat wings are definately there..

I emjoy watching the contestants conquer their "I can't" attitude... Someday I hope to conquer mine

Actually if you saw the final show and how some of the contestants looked, there are were still really flabby just like my "bat wings" that I call them.  You do have to rmeember that those guys are in the gym for sometimes up to 8 hours a day and on a very controlled diet and excercise program.  Nobody in real life has 8 hours to be in a gym in order to tone up as much as they do.  so I have come to grisp witht he fact that I am 2 years out of my surgery and no matter how many weights I life there will be some extra skin.

I've grown tired of the show, but in the earlier seasons I watched, there were definitely contestants with loose skin issues. Just remember they have professional wardrobe and makeup artists helping out behind the scenes.

I thought they all looked packed in spandex. And not everyone has a lot of skin issues. I have lost well over 200 lbs. and have almost no skin issues on my arms or neck or belly. My thighs are wrinkled, but that could be covered with the shorts they wear. I thought their torsos looked like they had spandex garments on.

Rudy ran up to congratulate Danny. When he hugged him the undergarment was showing by the arm hole. Another poster mentioned this and I just noticed it when I watched it again.

Come  on...do you really think "normal" TV viewers want to see a bunch of people run around with floppy, saggy skin?  This show is a joke in my humble opinion.
