I'm under the assumption that it's the same...but I could be wrong. My friend (who had lap band vs. my gastric bypass) drank Slimfast shakes for hers.

I would think not much difference, but check the nutrition labeling. Sometimes the meal replacement things have more calories because they have more stuff in them like protein, fats, etc. I have never used Chike so can't really say.

I am not sure.  The only thing I have for a comparison is the Optifit food that I am on right now.  There are protein drinks, bars, soups, etc.  that are "meal replacements" and some that aren't.  I was told the meal replacement items included all the vitamins that I need so I was encouraged to have more of those than the non-meal replacements.  I don't know if it's the same thing with Chike.  I hope this helps!

I think it's that the "meal replacements" contain vitamins and minerals as well as protein.  Like, Chike contains 25% of the RDA of a bunch of vitamins.  Unjury doesn't, if I remember correctly.  If you're taking your vitamins like you should be, it doesn't really matter if your shakes have vitamins or not, though.
