How much of Vitamins and Protein to you need to take after 1 year
Protein and vitamins are a daily deal. You need at least 60-80 grams of protein each day as well as vitamins. I take 2 mult-vitamins, 4 calcium citrate, 1 B complex, 1 B12sublingual, 1 zinc, 1 D3, and vitamin C each day.
Please take care of yourself -- sometimes it's too late by the time that you realize that you are deficient on something.

Both are a lifetime committment if you wish to remain healthy and fit.
At nearly 19 months out, daily I take:
2-Kirkland Signature multi- vits
1500-2000 mg Calcium Citrate (2/3 BA Chews/Calcet bites, sometimes an Up-Cal D packet to mix it up!)
2-500 mcg Vitamin B-12 [sublinguals]
2-5,000 IU Vit. D3
1-Se-Vate (Pres. Iron) plus 500 mg Vitamin C
1-Bifera plus 500 mg Vitamin C
Take care of yourself!

There are some vitamins that must be replenished daily.
There are some vitamins that have a storeage for a few years.
There are some vitamins that have a storage of up to 5 years.
After you deplete your storage, your levels will tank.
If you do not take your vitamins, or do not take good vitamins, your stores will start to deplete themselves.
When these stores deplete themselves, then your levels will tank. At that point, it is very hard to get out of what I call (because trust me, I've lived it) "deficiency hell."
It's much easier to prevent a deficiency than to treat it.
Vitamins need to be taken daily. Protein needs to be taken in daily (how, I leave up to you). These are not optional if you wish to remain in good health.
When you say you feel horrible, are you saying that you feel horrible physically -- "my body feels horrible" or are you saying you feel horrible mentally "I feel horrible because I don't do the things I should do for my health"?
I only ask because if it's the first, then you need to go in immediately and get a full blood panel and find out if you are running into any deficiencies. If it's the second, then you can rectify the situation by getting into a proper routine and taking charge of your health.

According to the ASMBS, you need a multi that provides 200% of the RDA of most stuff. With most brands, that means two a day but read the label to make sure. You need 1500 - 2000 mg calcium citrate, iron, and B12. And you need to get labs done to see if you need anything else.
How much protein you need depends on who you ask, but it's about 60 - 80 grams per day. You're only getting protein every other day? Why is that?

My NUT requires 100grams of protein a day after 1 year. I drink 1 protein shake a day and if it is a bad eating day, I will drink a second shake to make sure I get all my protein in.
Not taking vitamins or getting in protein is not an option and if you continue to do this, you will regret it.. Your levels are going to tank and they aren't easy to get back up. I take my vitamins religiously have many deficiencies, I can't imagine what it would be like if I didn't take them. Please start them immediately and take all the time and get in your protein. Call your surgeon or NUT(who ever does your labs) and get a set of labs done to see where you are - if they won't do them, try your PCP.
