I used to think that the most best tasting protein was the most expensive protein. But I was proven wrong when I tried the Adkins Protein shakes- only 17 grams, but I have tasted the Strawberry and Vanilla and both are good. They do not have an after taste. I was able to buy a 4 pack at Publix, BOGOF for $6.99. So that was 8 meals for less than a $1 a meal.

Also Walmart has the Body Fortress protein mix in flavors. I get vanilla and one scoop is 27 grams of protein. I mix it with warm tea (let the tea get luke warm before mixing).

While the OH YEAH protein shake is still my favorite, it is too expensive for me at the moment.

HT has the ISS Oh Yeah RTD cases on sale still if you can find them..

At least mine still does.  The singles not so much, but the cases still had the 19.99 price tag.

I believe the Atkins are even cheaper at WalMart. You might want to try EAS MYoplex light too, they are good and about the same or less than Atkins

I takea scoop of the Vanilla Body Fortress and put it in a cup of General Mills Sugar Frre ,Decaffinated Vaniila coffee. It tastes like a latte. It is great, especially since it's 14.88 for 2lbs.!

Oh using the GM SF coffee is a great idea!

I get unflavored powdered whey and soy proteins by bulk.  Between $7 & $10 a pound, 3 tbs is 25 grms of protein. 

Cost effective protein, best deal I have found, Sam's club EAS (the low carb kind) 5LB bag under $30! Plus it is Whey Isolate. 23 Grams a scoop, it mixes great with any thing. I use it to make fruit smoothies with frozen fruit and SF syrups. All of which I buy at Sam's.

Oh and it's not a sale price, it's always that price. Is body fortress an Isolate? It's all I'll drink.

CVS drugstore has their own brand only Chocolate and Vanilla flavors but it is 14 buck a bag and taste good too.
