Gross: Why am I throwing up saliva and mucus?

I recently found out I had ulcers and all I have been doing is vomiting saliva and mucus. I stopped eatting because everything I ate came right back up.  I dont know how much more I can take from this.

Ulcers? Are you seeing a doctor about it?

I have been doing the same thing. Have you been having pain when your stomach is empty? I thought I was throwing up mucus and all because I have horrible post nasal drip. My family has been sick this weekend so I hope I don't end up with that and not able to tolerate any liquids or anything.

I don't have any suggestions or advice...but just wanted to send you a big ole *hug*. I hope things get better soon.

I was having the same problem since December when I went on soft foods.  I threw up at least one meal a day.  Last week I got to the point, where I threw up 12 times in one day and could not even keep water down, let alone food.  I called the bariatric surgeon's office *****ferred me to a general surgeon.  The very next day (Friday) I had an endoscopy with dialation done.  Basically my opening had closed up or scarred over and the doctor dialated it ti 12 cm.  The procedure took 15 minutes with local "joy juice".  Even though I am on full liquids for a few days and then back on a soft diet for a couple weeks, it is well worth it.  I feel great and have not vomited on 2 days!

Im just reading your story, I throw up daily. Usually after I eat. Anything - even half a soft boiled egg. I really am compliant with this diet. But, i still throw up about 3 or 4 a day. hope you are better now.

I know this was years ago but I am 7 was post of and experiencing the same symptoms how did they fix it because no ppi's Work for me.

Yes my Dr was informed and I had an EGD done but they only found ulcers not a stricture. I am throwing up so much. I was told by a nurse today to drink hot teas like peppermint tea. I will be going back for a follow-up EGD and I'm hoping for it to be a stricture so that it can be resolved. I feel so weak and drained.
