Emotions out of control...

So I know it's somewhat normal to experience hormonal imbalances and mood swings post-op but I'm concerned about mine.  I've never been an angry/aggressive driver and now all of a sudden I'm ready to pull over and fight someone on the side of the street if they cut me off.

I cry when I watch reality tv or a random commercial that isn't sad at all.  That's never happened before.

I get frustrated and feel overwhelmed for no apparent reason...which seems to happen quite often.

Is this normal?  And how do you regulate these mood extremes?  Is there anything I can do?

This shall pass. But in the mean time count to 10. Say a Serenity Prayer. Breathe deep!

Ohhhhh.  Just think about pulling over, don't do it.  I lived in Sacramento for four years - you may not win the fight.(lol)   Now, something I learned from my many many diets... you need "some" fat in your diet.  Otherwise, you find yourself getting "short" and "thin skinned". etc.  Weigh****chers discovered this several years back.  Check with your nutritionist on this point.
Other than this point, you are going to have different levels of emotions over the next few months. You and your body will be going through so much change, physically, mentally, and emotionally ---oh, and socially. I have my highs and lows.  But, they pass - especially with OH here for you. Good Luck.
