I Know Some Insurances Require A Person To Have At Least One Comorbidity Sometimes In Order To Have Surgery.
So I Was Wondering If I People Could Give Me More Examples Of Some Please.

High blood pressure, sleep apnea, diabetes.  Some will also consider things like osteoarthritis to be comorbidities.

Each ins co is different. Some want diabetes, high blood pressure, or diabetes. Others want a different kind of cardiac problem. You have to see what YOUR ins requires.

I think most of them only require co-morbidities if your BMI is between 35 and 40. If your BMI is over 40 that qualifies with or without co-morbidities.

Some examples of co-morbidities are high blood pressure, sleep apnea, diabetes,or  joint pain. Anything that will improve with weight loss can be a co-morbidity.

Hope this helps.

Hi!

I has comorbidity's and was approved on the first time I tried.  I had diabetes, sleep apnea, high blood pressure, asthma and other things, I can't remember..lol

Everything except sleep apnea is gone.

I feel better knowing I am much more healthy now]

Good luck

Peace
Mary
