I have been drinking around a GALLON of fully-leaded iced tea every day since I was abouot two weeks post-op---and that's been over six years now. Go for it!

Until you get cleared for caffeine, Lipton has a really nice caffeine free tea. It tastes just like regular tea. You might give it a try and see if you like it!

Otherwise, maybe you could have some really watered down tea?

Let us know what you find out!

Hugs,

I started drinking at at two months out and now I drink it daily. I do make sure to get non-caffeinated liquids in, too, like water and soy milk.

 Yep.

Caffeine has no diuretic effects.

But, make sure to get your WATER in as well.

I also drink a glass of tea almost everyday...usually at lunch..and I am almost 2 months out. I think I only waited until the second week lol Im not a coffee drinker or soda drinker so none of those things even appeal to me but I love me some ice tea!!!
