whay to do

my surgery is thursday and i got a cold wetn to dr they gave me meds  trying to feel better and my mom is telling me that it is a oman  and that i should cancel the surgery  i dont know what to do and  nurses  are having union  problems what to do?

 I say do your best to get well by Thursday (you probably will) and then go through with it.  I take it your mom really didn't want you to have the surgery in the first place?

Don't let your mom's superstitions (an OMEN??) get between you and your health.

Whatever union problems are ongoing, I'm sure your nursing team will be very professional.

Mother's and their guilt trips...got to love it. 

Don't listen to her...you will be fine for Thursday and you will do great!  I have 3 kids and if they were in your shoes I would be bringing over chicken soup and doing what I could to help them get better to have this surgery and take charge of their life!  You are doing the right thing by having the surgery.
