BTW, that "impossible to lose after a year" thing is an old wives' tale. People disprove it here on a daily basis.

Also, adipex REALLY dehydrates you. I wouldn't do it.

Don't do any of those damned things--haven't enough people died from Phen-fen???  Diet pills are just a big pot of cash for Big Pharma.

If you're considering surgery and want to lose some pre-op weight, cut out all white foods (bread, rice, pasta, potatoes), start using a program like South Beach for eating , exercise, and do your vitamins.

You'll lose a lot more safely.

Good luck.

Good grief, woman, you've got a better tool with your surgery than you'd ever have with pills.

DON'T DO IT.

Just keep on doing what you're doing.  The weight will continue to come off.

Why would you want to take diet pills this colse to having surgery? I lost weigh the 1st 11 months and then didn't lose for about 3 months and then at 14 months I started losing again. I am down 133 pounds and have finally stopped losing. Which I am glad about. I now weigh 136.
