super whey protein shot?

anyone tried these? They are little 2.9oz shots that have 26g protein from their "protein blend" (hydrolyzes collagenic protein, whey protein isolate, casein protein isolate) I know we are supposed to get mostly whey protein isolate but just wonderin what you guys thought.. btw only 1 gram carbs and 0 sugar.

They are HORRIBLE!!!! I thought wow, what an easy way to get in protein. A little fluid, I could just down it. It was awful!! I gagged. I tried the grape, and the Fruit Punch. Also my NUT says we really should not be using them that they do not have the right formula of protein for us.

Since they are mostly collagen, you'll get very little protein from them.  There may be 26 grams in that little tube but you will not absorb most of it.

I never really thought of the protein I've taking...weather it is right for me or not...OMG...I'm using pure protein products...is this good for me??

Is it whey isolate?  Whey concentrate?  Those are fine.  Whey isolate is the best absorbed.  I think Pure Protein is fine.

My Dr. recommends that we dont use those since collegenic protein is not the right type for us.

There are some out there that are whey protein. I was just looking through photos that Andrea U. and Melting Mama posted from the OH conference in California, and there were pics of them with whey protein "test tubes". I can't remember the manufacturer name.

I've never seen any test tubes that were all whey protein.  I think they would have to be very big because if you put a scoop of whey protein in a few ounces of liquid, it would be very, very thick.  Like sludge, not liquid.  Seems like the tube would have to be more than 2.5 or 3 ounces like the collagen ones are.  What brands are you talking about?
