OK. That's really the only way to know how much to take.  The ASMBS does not routinely recommend B12 after VSG, only if your labs show you need it, I think.  Some do, some don't.  You want your level around 1000,  Higher is OK.  You probably don't want it over 2000.  Your lab report will say something like 211-911 is good, but 211 is much much much too low.  Dangerously low.  Like, get permanent nerve damage low.

Most people start with 1000mcg of sublingual B12 daily or a monthly injection and then adjust based on there labs from there.  Many need more than those doses.

If I got a dianosis of MS, I'd be in touch with my specialist and my VSG surgeon to discuss specific vitamins for the optimum health with your diagnosis. Forums are nice for normal nutritional advice, but I'd opt for more advice from your doctors who you see for your diagnosis. Good luck. DAVE
