Things are going better for me this week:

Found a Primary Care Physician (referred by Surgeons Office) who supports patients having WLS. Have an initial consult with her on 15th July.

July 19th I have a 745am psych appointment, an 11am Nutrician Appt and 12noon Dietician Appt.

My surgeons office is sending me an order for Labs and an EKG.

Gulp - it is all kicking off now!!! Gonna get me some collar bones!!!!

Anyone else want some?  I see plenty of people round here with them.

My Dr commented about my collar bones at my last appointment. He said, "Hey, look at you! You have collarbones now!" That made me feel pretty good. My husband used to always tap them to mess with me until they went away. I think he's looking forward to being able to  tap them again & mess with me some more. Lol.

You'll be getting yours back soon enough. :)

Won against big bad (SoCal) Kaiser for a Duodenal Switch  Haven't heard of DS? Kaiser wants it that way. Come on over & read the truth
Hit goal (Normal BMI) on 2-10-11!    I LOVE my DS!!
My approval process timeline:
02/12/09 - Dr. refused to refer me for WLS
03/03/09 - Vented/whined about it on another board, planned to just wait until next year & switch plans
Let's see what happens!  **updates in blog**

I have them! It's weird, I thought something was wrong with me because I have bumps on my shoulder joints and I havent seen them on anyone- even my skinny daughter!  But it's just my bones!  It sure is strange to find bones you never knew you had!

I'm still waiting for my collarbones, but DH plopped his head on my shoulder last night and immediately sat straight up, then poked at my shoulder. "Hey, you have bone there!" he said. Then added, "It used to be softer." I told him to get used to it. LOL!

It made me feel pretty good about myself!
