Great way to deal with haters and naysayers *edit* naughty language in video...beware!

Follow what this girl does if someone says something rude or hateful regarding you having surgery :) (If you are  at work you may want to watch this later or at least lower the volume)

Since someone complained...beware if you didnt see the new title of this thread and you cant read the title of this youtube vid that several f-bombs shall be dropped...and i think a couple s-bombs! And to be clear I mean F*CK and SH*T!

Sure can, but when I posted it I even said it may not be suitable ...also seeing as the title of the video showed the name of the song it gave warning that it had language in it. Sorry you found it offensive, but  I really don't see the need to post on it if you DID find it offensive as you could of just as easily no****ched the video. Wouldn't commenting on it make it more visible to others anyways?  Just a thought.

My bad.  I didn't stop to read the title of the clip. I didn't even see the part about being  unsuitable.   You are correct on most everything you said.  I did no****ch the video, I click on it and clicked back off when I realized what was going on.   I will be more careful in the future.

I just think itis immature behavior to tell people to F-O. 

BTW, I'm a lady, and there is a big difference in a lady and a woman, in my opinion. What you post  mirrors your values, whether you know it or not. 

But this is the internet, and you have the right to post what you want to, and I respect that.  You have the right to choose your values, as well. If you were my daughter, I would be very disappointed.

Honestly, I don't go around telling people to "eff off". It was a lighthearted,  albiet off-color joke. Considering how much crap some of us face when deciding to do this surgery it was just my way of saying not to care what those people think. The song itself is lighthearted  as well.

I am glad you consider yourself a "lady" but there is no need to  act stuck up and insinuate other people are not  "ladylike" because their views, beliefs, and sense of humor doesn't align with yours.

I  slapped the "warning labels" on the post to limit more negative posts due to people being offended, but I certainly won't apologize for being me. I didn't come here to be judged, I cam here to find other people trying to get healthy, find support, and offer support.

You are right, some people have been through because of the choice of WLS.   You are here to get to support and you should get it.  I hope everything goes well with your upcoming surgery and that your health and results are all that you want them to be.

You didn't offend me with saying God Bless, I am fine with people expressing themselves and their religions and certainly do not think that just because I believe in "this" someone else is wrong for believing in "that". I don't really see anything for me to apologize about honestly. As I haven't resorted to nasty language and certainly haven't brought anyone's mothers, values or anything else into it.  Actually I liked you up until you had replied with your original reply as it came off quite condescending and was not at all needed. I read your surgery story last night and found you humourous and fun. Thought about friending you as the more the merrier on this journey. But honestly now I know not to bother. I certainly don't hate you though and I respect your rights to your opinions and feelings, I just will make a point to steer clear.

I have a wonderful relationship with my mom and while her and I don't align on all of our views and beliefs she loves me and is very proud of me, so your and anyone elses views of me and what I reflect through my posts don't matter...
