Happy Surgiversary to me...
One year ago today I weighed over 100 lbs more then I do right now. For those of you wondering if it is possible for you to ever have this dream come true, I say ...Yes you can. It will work for you, you can lose all that weight and be a normal size again. Your body will respond to the surgery...you won't be the "one it won't work for"...it will work for you so be encouraged and set your date, because you will never regret it. It has changed my life and I never want to go back to who I used to be. Just remember it is a not a magic wand but tool that needs to be used wisely. I wish you all happy loosing.
Congrats....Isn't it a wonderful journey? You are so right, it is work every day, and not a magic fix all. I am so excited for you!

Congrats my friend. Can you believe how fast the year has gone by? I know you worked for every pound, and I was right there with you. You are right, WLS is not a magic wand, or a cure. It is a tool in our arsenal for sustainable weight loss. It is a tools we need to keep honed and polished to maintain it's effectiveness.
Like you, my goal now is stabilization....that's a whole new challenge, but one I'm up for. Let's pull up our boot straps and keep on keeping on.
Whoooo Hooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
