Well said, but I fear it falls on deaf ears.

Posts like this are why I pretty much stopped posting on this board altogether and get/give support elsewhere. Wow. Speechless. Sick. Judgemental. Nasty. Bitter. But, all too common from SOME around here. I think it's pathetic.

That's why I stopped posting for a long time too.  I realized pretty quickly post-op that this board has the propensity to be toxic and nasty.  Why is it that we eat our young around here?  Until I got a year or so out, I steered clear of OH because I needed to be surrounded with positivity and love.  Now that I am this far out and have some perspective... I find threads like this to just be a sad, pathetic cry for help.  Seriously.  Help is out there - get some therapy if you need it, people!

Everyone had to know just from the title of the post that it was going to be something less than supportive.  I only bothered to look out of curiosity.  I knew it would be littered with trash., and a good laugh.

I don't give a **** how skinny you are but it's obvious that you're a huge *****  Being skinny and/or keeping the weight off does not make you a good person.  Being obese does not define me and if I gain the weight back after surgery that will not define me either.  You place too much value on the fact that you're skinny now, but unfortunately that won't do anything for your ****ty personality.

Listen here you uppity little *****!  Some people will have regain it is a fact.  I have regain.  Do I hate that I have regained 30 lbs hell yes!  Am I happier I am still 125lbs lighter, HELL YES.

Don't you go around saying how women of child bearing age shouldn't have WLS.  I know many wonderful women who had children after WLS (myself included) who did just fine.  You just have to take care of yourself.

Don't put your guilt and problems on others!

I think you need to go in and have your verbal filter changed, because obviously, it needs some serious work.

What an insensitive, moralistic post.    And by the way, I'm not struggling with regain at all.   I'm a size 2-4 and have been that way for four years.
