You may regret THIS one. The longest post I've ever written. Seven years of regret?

Amazing post...I also hope you find the answers to your health problems...I came across your youtube video right after I had surgery and it was so eye opening and made me realize one...this is a lifetime struggle and two we all possibly face some major health problems related to RNY that are out of control and when the smoke clears and the compliments stop rolling in we still have to live in this skin and be okay with it...and you are absolutley gorgeous.

Wow, Beth.  I always read your posts; however, this one captivated my attention like a James Patterson or Nora Roberts suspense novel.  I almost hated when it ended.  You've got skills in writing.

Seriously, I sympathize with all you are going through and hope you get some resolution, sooner than later.  I also appreciate your honesty about your situation and WLS.  The reality is that none of us can predict our post-WLS future.  As you indicated, we may trade in some or no comorbidities for "unknown" ailments in the future.  Your posts gives more reason to be vigilant advocates for our own health, even now.

I don't see your posts as negative; I see realistic accounts based on your own experiences.  We all need to hear the good, bad, and ugly; it may be useful in our own situation in the future.  I haven't had major issues; but, I am only about 6 weeks out.  I don't know about 7 years out.

Thanks for sharing.  Keep posting; I'll read!

You made me giggle, really?  It must have been the music I blasted to drown out the family last night in an effort to get something up and posted on the DATE.

:)  thank you.

Beth-Thanks for an amazing, as usual, post. I, too, read. every. single. word. and yes, "surgiversary" is an odd term. and I'm not a huge fan of "pounds gone forever..." Every time we dieted ourselves down to whatever weight, I'm sure all of us thought we were staying there. There isn't much reason to think that this is permanent either without remaining diligent.

I'm sorry you've had it so rough, but thank you for being so honest.
