Hellish ER visit.

I can agree with the hemorrhoids!! They can cause alot of bleeding. I am pre-surgery, but I have suffered with them for quiet some time. I had a colonscopy recently for family reasons, and also because I had a large amount of bright red blood going on, more than usual. Found out I had a fissure. That is something painful as well, and causes blood as well. It can be from constipation also. Just wanted to add that. Hopefully yours is just the hemorrhoid, either  way, none of them are any kind of a picnic. Good Luck dear! keep us posted

P.S. My physician instructed me to use stool softeners and sitz baths. But check with yours since you have RNY it could be different. I don't know all about that and what you can take. ;-)
