WETEO'S (Whatcha Eating Today Everyone?)

I've never journaled my food after the first 3 to 4 weeks.  It helps to re-live it here at the end of the day.  I think I may start writing it down as I go.  It's easy to go over the top quickly before I know it.  When I'm at work, I'm usually ok.  It's home in the nights that is my problem.  Seems like my hunger  increases so much in the nights.

Today:

Breakfast - chobani yogurt - the new one for kids - I ate 2 - total 200 calories for both together - 16 g protein

S:  1/2 cup cheez its

L:  banana and grilled chicken - maybe 2 to 3 oz.  I was out and about and bought this packaged already cooked grilled, fajita flavor, chicken.  The bag said 2 servings with 100 calories per 3 oz.  This was excellent.  It had a great flavor.  I even ate it cold.  It was moist.  I might try to replicate this homemade, freeze it  in baggies.  It was about $3.50 for 6 ounces.  So I could do this cheaper.

s:  pecans - too many

d:  ceasar salad, roast beef, and 1 tbl risotto (my first time making or eating - it was pretty good)

I had 3 cups of coffee today - all with 2 tsp of coffee mate each - the label says 10 calories per tsp

When you all journal your food on the computer, do you enter it all day or at the end of the day?

I used to wait until the end of the day, only because I didn't have access to FitDay from my computer at work.  But ............ now I have the app on my Iphone and I can keep up with it as I eat it .... which will help sooooooooooo much!

Hi there!  I have always journaled "old school" style in a hard-copy journal until recently.  I found a great site online that also syncs up with my phone through a cool app.  I pull out my phone after each meal and plug in what I've eaten.  The cool thing is that it saves what you have selected in a list which helps me a lot because I do tend to eat the same things over and over lol.  You can also select any particular group of foods and create a list of "meals" for future reference.  And, the phone app has a barcode scanner so you can just scan in what you're eating and tell it how many servings!  Way cool.  Anyhow, to answer your question, I enter everything as I go along throughout the day out of habit or else I will forget things. :)   www.myfitnesspal.com

I've got to force myself to start that so it can become a habit.  I'm so scared of gaining back.
