6 years out and I had to go to the ER!
I have had that pain a few times, once while sitting in the bathtub and leaning over to put my head under the faucet to wash my hair. I honestly believe I have something that pops through where it doesn't belong, it hurts like a ***** it has always gone back and the area hurts for a few days after. What I learned don't bend that way and herniate whatever it is, scary **** I hope your okay.
So glad you went to the ER and everything turned out ok! You're exactly right...no matter how far out you are from surgery, there are still risks! I don't think I ever really accepted that until something similar happened to me (twice). In that initial honeymoon stage of losing weight everything seems so wonderful that it's awfully hard to believe something bad could happen!

Sure glad to hear that it seems to be resolved now. My surgeon (Dr Fang) gives his patients a little business card to carry in your wallet that explains your post-op condition and has his 24 contact info on it should you ever end up in an ER.
Sure hope I never have to whip that card out
Take care... Craig
