Thanks for your response. Congrats on your weight loss! I am just trying to get some feedback from  ppl that have the same insurance as me. I am just now trying to schedule a seminar to begin my journey of surgery. Did you have a difficult time getting your surgery approved?

I see you have TennCare, Im working on having the gastric sleeve in Maryville,TN. They are requesting a 6 month documentation of weight loss however they arn't specific on how far back it can go some are saying as far as 2 years. I was wondering if this is true? do you happen to know

I did not have a hard time at all having it approved. I got a letter from my primary care to send to them, and my surgeons office also sent a letter. It took 2 weeks to hear back. I was approved immediately at that point, and my date was scheduled.

I had to have 5 months dr supervised diet. Two of those I had completed with my primary Dr, and my surgeons office let me use the visit with the exercise physiologist as 1 visit, the nutritionist visit as 1 visit, and the visit with the surgeon as 1 visit. All 3 of those were done in 3 separate months.
