Speaking of the blame game

Poor Ruby.  Her team of "experts" continue to blame her.  She had a 50 lb regain described on the last episode I saw and an intervention was held to "hold her accountable."

Why the HELL doesn't she get the DS and get healthy?  They are freakin' loving her to death.

But then if she had the DS there wouldn't be much of a show left would there?  Her health for a price.  sickening.

It is like watching a train wreck or NASCAR.   I can't stand it but I watch it.

I jus****ched the last episode. I feel so badly for her. Someone needs to tell her that she needs surgical intervention and NOT the 12 step program!!!! I don't know why they never really broach the subject. She is metabolically challenged at this point, whether she was in the past or not. She will continue to do the yo-yo until she realizes it's pointless.

I'm like you. I hate to watch, but it's like a trainwreck, you can't help but look! Argh.

She makes me want to scream at my TV.  I wish she would just get the DS and be done with it all.  And never speak to that guy Denny (?) again.

Fortunately I don't get that channel so I don't have to scream at my ancient, fuzzy, slightly-green tv screen

what show is this?

once upon a time I had a group to talk about Binge Eating Disorder, and later one about Clean Eating.

PM me if you are interested in either of these.

It's called "Ruby."  It is about a young woman in Savannah who started over 700lbs and has dieted and exercised and "therapized" herself down to 350.  She is a delightful and funny person who is making money off her journey but I hate to see the avoidable suffering.  You know?

It's on the Style channel.  Google Ruby and Style channel.  they have clips on the internet.  I'm not sure if there are full episodes on or not.

I'm all for her having surgical intervention but she has to face her past and recover from that before anything will work for her. If she was molested as has been strongly hinted at she would still have a problem with weight loss even with any surgery. Since we are able to eat around any surgery I'm sure she would still struggle until she makes peace with her past, hence the need for a 12 step program or some type of therapy. I do wish her well tho cause she seems like a sweet gal.
