The cycle ends right now. You can't lead me down that road.

I've been bullied; several times. Bullies are the ones with the 'issues', it's not YOU. Still, when you are their 'target' they can make your life difficult to say the least.
I have danced to my own drummer ALWAYS. It was who I was since age 2 yrs (according to my mom). I had my own thoughts on things always, but not to the extent of being odd or really weird, but just not one of the 'sheep' in life. I didn't do it for attention; it was just me. It has made my life adventurous, thrilling, and occasionally with some hills and bumps. Bullies target people who dance to their own drummer (among many others). They have such low self esteem they look for people who are in any way differnt to make themselves feel better. I have even had several bosses who were bullies and it was VERY difficult to live through. It's hard to go above the bully and express your feelings to her/his supervisor that you are being bullied by them...and then makes your life even tougher when the bully is 'talked to' by that same supervisor.
I've been there...it's NOT fun. Bullies are hard to ignore, but it can be done when you don't have to deal with them daily.
I sure hope you don't put their 'stuff' on yourself! It's NOT about you or your worth~they are the ones who have the problems.

Yes, here on OH.  But Bullies are just sad little unhappy people so who cares what they try to do.  I find the thing that drives them the most crazy is to ignore them.

 Yep. I've been bullied online. Only one place though.... here. It totally took me by surprise because, silly me, this was the last place that I had expected it to happen. 

I did receive numerous messages to encourage me. Not to demean them, but they were private messages... a few posting standing up for me would have been so appreciated. A couple of them did and it meant the world to me.

I really let this bother me for a little while. Then my dh woke me up by asking me if the opinions of these people truly made a difference in my life. I had to stop and think it over. At one time, yes it would. At one time I valued my self-worth by what others thought of me. But now? Well, fock them. Now I determine my self-worth. Not others. Least of all, not others that I don't know - nor will ever know. Did it still sting? Yes. But not for long. ;) 

MM, I fuzzy, fluffy pink heart you. With sparkles on top. You are awesome, you rock and I'm so very relieved and glad that I found someone who posts in reality. This can be a scary journey at times after surgery. Having someone that speaks the truth helps.

And how do I change my damn picture?? That pic is over 100 pounds ago! lol Everytime I try to upload one it tells me that it's too big. sigh... Don't they get it? THAT picture was too big, the one now is so much smaller.  lol

In school, many ages ago.  One thing that has made me a target in the past is that I am very sweet and nice to everyone , until they give me a reason to respond differently.  Then my Italian rises to the service and BOOM.  Poor Jo Anne Sheridan had to pick herself up off the floor only one time, because after that she left me alone.

Bully *****es are cowards because they pick on people they perceive as weak.

When people get snarky with me on here, I will either ignore or make fun.

Anyway, my advice to you is keep on being your funny unique self.  Karma is the best revenge.  No need to get your hands dirty.  Bullies are their own worst enemy.
