Decisions

I was watching TV the other day and an ad from SpecialK came on and it was talking about decisions and how one good decision, leads to another, which leads to another... It's so true. Have you noticed that when you do get up and get moving, that they decision to take care of yourself by exercising some then leads to better decisions about what you are putting in your mouth, etc... I think that the opposite is true as well and it can be a very slippery slope; meaning that one 'bad' decision often leads to another and another. The good news is that we are constantly being faced with the opportunity to make a new, good decision.

Sooooo, what decisions are you making today to take care of yourself?

After seeing how my recent labs looked, I went out and purchased all the necessary supplements and then some, a 4x a day pill box. Bought some good protein powder, and I have been 100% compliant for 14 days now and already I am starting to feel the difference.  I also made my decision to have surgery on 6/3 to correct an Intussesception and remove some adhesions.

I have had a really awful year emotionally but it's on the upswing now and soon my health will be too because I am focusing on taking much better care of myself.

I also have recommitted to making sure I get ALL my supplements EVERY day. I always get*some* but it has been several months since I got them *all* every day.
I am also recommitting to keeping most carbs out of my diet, period.
