Had a blast last nite out dancing with the gals!  Came home "famished" since I had not eaten very many calories during the day .... so made up for it! Snickers!  Here's a pic we took before we "hit the town."  

Eats for today:

B:  4 oz. smoked chicken breast

L:  Banana

D:  3 oz smoked chicken breast, 1 oz. cheddar cheese, low carb tortilla wrap

S:  Will have a shake made with carbmaster yogurt and diced peaches.

Totals:  762 calories, 70 carbs, 17 fats, 82 proteins

Hello,

Long time, no see!!
I logged on a lil' while ago and was hoping I would become a regular again but........

How have you been?? You are looking great!!

I have been doing just ok. My iron came back real low. Went to my GP because I wasen't sleeping. I was falling asleep because I was exhausted but waking up and staying awake for hours. Tired alot. Figured the sleep issue was early menopause. Turns out I was so low on my iron. I have had 2 infusions and need 2 more. I have them 14 days apart. I have just been literally wiped out. Difficult to do anything w/o feeling like I need to lay down. Weird stuff.

I have also gained 4 lbs. Eating has not been great. Coffee, banana, some chocolate, protein bars, salad w/ chix or steak, handful of granola, more chocolate, peanuts, peanut butter on pretzels, cookies here and there, handful of chips here and there, diet pepsi, onion rings, french fries. Some days better then others. Some days more junk then others.

Lets see if I can rememmber how I ate today:
coffee w/ flavored creamer
whole banana with PB dipped in granola
Pure Protein bar (1/2 at 2 separate times)
DD Blueberry decaf iced w/ cream and sugar (over the course of almost 2 hrs)
handful of granola

Local car hop/ice cream place for dinner:
cheeseburger (no bun) sauteed onions. lettuce and tomoto
3 (?4) onion rings ( battered up!)
Diet pepsi

Also mixed in here are a few small pieces of a hersey milk chocolate bar, 1/2 choc w/ pb chip cookie, the handful of Lay's chips!!

I think logging back in here at night will help with the food choices and help me realize the crappy choices I am making and the moderation I may be lacking.

Overall, I am happy with my self and being a size 2 and maintaining pretty well after being 2 1/2 yrs post RNY!!

Hey my long lost friend!  Bless your heart, I am so sorry to hear about the low iron.  I know you must feel like crap.  Do you know how this happened?  Had you been taking your iron supplements and getting regular labs? 

You have done remarkable well ... so don't beat yourself up over a few lbs.  Geez, I went up 13 lbs., but have taken off 11 of the 13.  It just happens so easily.  I began to allow carbs to sneak back in like a vengeance.  I am back on track and really doing well and feel great most days! You hang in there, and track your food ..... !

I will be two years out on June 29th.  Can't believe its been 2 years!

My labs were always great!!

First time ever! I think it was because I was slacking on my multivitamin.
Hopefully my numbers will be up and stay up!

I jsut spent 15mins trying to change my profile pic and I can't get it on w/ o looking al weird!
I will try again tomorrow and get new pics on!

so, according to live strong and calorie count websites, i burn about 155 calories an hour at work.( i am a chef), constantly standing no break and always moving. if this is true, on an average 8 hour shift i burn more than i eat! ha ha, but still cant get to that 155lb mark. that's hilarious!

B-some popcorn
L-salad,  lettuce, cauliflower, cheese, 1 radish, chicken breast pieces, ranch dressing
S-the rest of the popcorn
D-salad, same as above


Okay I broke down and had some popcorn! Worked very hard today with lots of yard work etc. I just love working outside.

I did go jogging mid morning and it about did me in since it was so hot. I did manage to jog three miles.

Still getting dizzy.

Busy day tomorrow with a class I have to take the next two days. I have to travel 70 miles one way to get to it (Des Moines). Then my daughters have a softball game. Hope to keep my eating in check.
