I need references for a Good surgeon in Mexico that performs the Sleeve surgery

I can give a thumbs up for Aceves..
Tip: do yourself a favor and do some keyword searches like Dr. XXX and complication or complaints.. on here as well as on Google in addition to looking at their background and facility they operate out of.. there are some that should be avoided. Also, price though a concern should not be the deciding factor. Please make sure the person you chose has a good track record without a lot of complaints.

That would mean you need a revision, which is a whole different ballgame. There are only a handful of surgeons that are really qualified to patch a pouch stomach back together into a sleeve. 

Even if a surgeon SAID they could/would do it, it's risky, and I'd only go to someone like Rabkin or Kesheshin for that.

Taking down a RNY to convert to a sleeve is complicated.. I don't know if Aceves has done any RNY to sleeves- he does revisions, but I'm sure the majority are band conversions.. You can always contact him and ask, but that is a concern.

Yep, if you're looking for a revision from a previous RNY to a Sleeve, you need to be VERY careful---and I personally would NOT let someone do this to me who was willing to do it for less than $22K. I know that's not what you want to hear, but---this is something that could easily KILL you, in the wrong hands.
