I found my match on eHarmony and was matched the day I joined. It took me a few months to actually contact him, but we have now been together almost two years.
The secret of eHarmony is that it finds your best matches that are located closest to you as soon as you join. You think if these are so good, I will just wait for better ones. But they get less and less appropriate the longer you wait.
You can join without paying, check out some of you matches and then decide if you want to pay to play.

There are some GOOD guys out there who need a kick in the rear.
My point is that if you find someone of interest....do not be afraid to be the one to make the first move. Some guys are like old cars.....they are hard to get started, but run just fine after you take the time with them to get them started.
Best of luck with the hunt.
P.S. I like what I see in Rome, Ga. Maybe I need to think of moving to Ga. LOL !!!!!

It doesn't have to be a love interest. I'm married but Mr. Mac is so not active. So I joined a triathlon club and now I have all sorts of buddies to do things with and not just workout either. We also do social things.

I met my DH in a personal's ad (pre-internet), so I am a huge believer in the power of advertising! Just be careful, verify their identities, and enjoy! A friend told me (back then) that finding the right partner is like selling anything. You have a lot of rejections before you get a yes, and every guy that doesn't work out means you are closer to the one that will. Or more simply put "You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince!" It's all in the numbers!
