Hearburn

Not sure why, but the past few day I am having heartburn for the first time.  Anyone have any ideas why this is all of a sudden happening.  Had my surgery October 1, 2010 and never had this before.

I'd take a close look at what you've eaten the past few days.

I don't know -- but I want to tell you that I had my Realize Band in June 2009 and have not had any issues up until this past weekend.

I started to have some chest/arm pain -- and thought it might be a heart attack.
After ruling out a cardiac problem, I had an EGD today and was diagnosed with
1.  LA Grade D Reflux esophigitis
2.  Hiatus Hernia (repaired during my surgery and evidently back)
3.  Gastric Ulcers

I am now on an acid reducer awaiting the biopsy results.
I hope that it comes back as H-Pylori so I can get on an anti-biotic and get that part of this resolved.

Seek professional advice, please.

Strangely 4 days ago I started with major heart burn also.... So random! I'm 4 years out from surgery and everything I read points to a hiatal hernia...... Very worrisome as it's so bad at times it's making me vomit! I haven't had heartburn since surgery until now!

Hmmmm...guess I better tell my surgeon about my maybe hiatal hernia?  I used to be bothered horribly by this a number of years ago....but not for a while now...
