My tastebuds don't agree
I have been hearing great things about the Artic Zero protein ice cream. So, I did a search on their website, drove 30 miles (closest store to me that sells it), bought a pint of Chocolate Mint Cookie (the only flavor the store had), packed it in the cooler with ice and headed home. I was so excited to try it. That is where the excitement ends. I didn't care for it at all. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give it a 4. So, my search continues for something that tastes sweet and that is low calorie/carb and low in sugar. Ugh!
there's a recipe for protein icecream by www.theworldaccordingtoeggface.com; she's got some really great recipes.
I find that making my own greek yoghurt w/peaches or blueberries, or strawberries, or mandarin
oranges, and adding vanilla Torani s/f syrup to taste is a great treat, and a lot less expensive than
trekking miles to buy an unsatisfactory product.
You can also add a s/f cheesecake mix to the yoghurt. I have to add a little milk to keep it from
being too thick to stir.
Don't be afraid to try different things!!
Good luck.
