Tricare -waiting

Can anyone tell me, on average, how long it takes for tricare.  Not impatient at the moment - just curious.  I went through all my requirements and this was all sent to Tricare last week.

Referals take about two weeks, I was hoping it would be about the same for aprovals.

Mine took about a week and a half or so. As long as you made the requirements you shouldn't have an issue! Good luck! Check the web site to because sometimes you will have an approval on there before you actually get the paper one in the mail.

Just took your advice.  It says the decision is "in process"  although I noticed the date was July 29th so I don't think the Doctor's office submitted it when they said they were going to.

Mine was approved within four days.  If you've met the qualifications, you should be hearing good news any day now!!

mine with TriWest was approved in a couple of hours. I could see the approval on the website and surgeon's office got the hard copy approval via fax the next day.
