Too Skinny!! Look like I am a concentration camp victim!!

Oh, that concentration camp comment brought back memories. I was told that too. I was really gaunt and way past goal wt.

My weight loss wouldn't stop and I also had the poopers. This was many years ago. I did end up reversing my WLS but you don't look horrendously thin. You are attractive and may just need to work a little on building back some muscle mass and protein stores. Labs are good???

At one point, I recall being given digestive enzyme tablets to slow down the weight loss. I referred to them as "pigzymes" because they were made from oinkers...

labs....... yes, I get checked every 6 months and getting ready for my next check up early October.  They're always great and I'm very good about taking my vitamins which my Dr. has recommended.

and yep, I think the muscle tone is the big issue right now.  I just need to tone up a bit, but not quite sure how to do it "too much"  :-)

Sounds good. You would have to exercise an awful lot before you began to look like Arnold S.

I never in a million years thought I would be saying that about myself  and you're right.  Don't want to look like "the Arnold"  I'll never get there and my sis is definitely concerned.  Love her to pieces.  I have a super supportive family  :-)   It's all good.

I'm so glad you have good support. It's crucial!

I underwent WLS without any support and then came down with pneumonia, etc. I found out just how important support is... Due to cir****tances beyond my control, I almost always had to do things by myself.

So, if the comments are made out of concern, consider what your loved ones say. You are quite fortunate to have your family... Hey, do you think they would like to adopt a middle aged, nerdie, artistic, tomboy??? I promise to pick up my chonies of the floor.

And no, you surely don't want to look like "The Arnold". I met him before he became the governator, he's a real putz. Look what he did to his wife.

In regard to "support", one of my "friends" who I never told that I was going to have the surgery, finally is starting to talk to me again, but only because I really haven't changed and it was time to reconnect.  She or any of her "cronies" have said word one about how good I look or you look so different or how did you do it?  They all know because of my "friend".  But she was real quick to acknowledge when I said something negative about myself in regard to losing too much.  I quietly thought to myself, sure, you can agree that I now look anorexic, but not that I look good.  It's crazy.  Ah, but that's another post  :-)

I have 3 sisters and 1 brother, plus their spouses and my mom and all have been awesome through this whole thing.  You're right, I'm very fortunate.  Where are you from?  I'm sure my family would be willing to take in another tomboy  :-)

That's sweet but tell them I'm 1/2 Italian and still like to eat. Re the other half, well I'll leave that for another post.

Luckily, you have a "virtual" family here.  That's a long haul :-)   Our family loves to eat too, as do I, but can't take in nearly as much as I used to, but that's a GOOD thing  :)

Actually, I don't eat as much as I used to. However, the Polish "half" likes to graze.

I am not at the point where I have experienced too much weight loss or had to tweak things to stop the weight loss, but I did look at your pictures and I just wanted to chime in that I thought you looked good in the pictures. I think the "concentration camp victim" comment was pretty over the top.
