 Hi Luanne,
I think you look great - your face doesn't look drawn. I had a similar problem - when I was at my lowest weight i looked a bit scrawny round the arms, neck, boobs (tragic!) and face so I put on a bit of weight and it goes to my ass and tummy!

I think I felt more comfortable at the lower weight! You probably will even out a bit so give it some time. By the way - you can't tone up skin so don't set too high expectations on that one!

thank you Fleur for reminding me to not get thinking too much about gaining weight on purpose.  I am so lucky in that my skin isn't that bad, considering how much weight I've lost.

in regard to "toning" up, wouldn't a bit more muscle help or I wonder if it then makes it look like I'm a body builder  lol - don't want to look like that, but that would require lifting ALL the time and I'm NOT a lifter  :-)

You will NOT look like a body builder, and you don't have to start a formal lifting program. Just do some activities that require some bending, squatting and lifting.

If you want a terrific strength building device, get a Yoga ball and look up some exercises for it online. You won't have to lift a single barbell.

:)    sounds good to me.  I really should focus on some strength building exercises.  Definitely not as strong as I used to be.  Thank you.

You look FABULOUS and not at all too skinny I think you look great.  Eventually your body will relax and it will balance itself out ... A healthy diet based on your surgery type, exercise and good hydration does the trick.... I am 5'5.5" and weigh 119 lbs and not too skinny or skinny at all for that matter. I did drop way too low and at 18 months our was weighing 111 pounds (photo in my panni album here on OH) and I too felt that I was looking gaunt.. that happened during the first two years out and I did worry a bit that I was looking drawn and all my co-workers were telling me the same  but my doctor told me to relax that I would bounce back some and by year 3 I did without even trying too hard to gain anything and was maintaining steady at 123-127 pounds until a couple months ago where I was too stressed out with some family health issues and dropped low again being unable to eat over the lump in my throat caused by fretting and now I am working my way back up to my maintenance weight just sticking to my regular dietary plan that I have been following all along...

Don't sweat it out .. if I were you I would consult with my doctor and if all labs and everything else checks out and you feel good about yourself I would let it run its course ... I am glad I dropped lower than I wanted to so that on the bounce back I remained just where I wanted to be...

Wishing you nothing but the best on your journey.  Again you look AWESOME ... tone up a bit and hydrate and see the wonders that works... and I LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR DRESS TOO!!!

You look very nice. Those who are not used to seeing you thin will take notice. If your healthy, and your labs look good you should relax. Your just two years out now and your body is just getting used to everything. Dont do anything drastic to regain.

I went way below a weight I should of been at too. I had bone sticking out I never knew were there. My body finally shut off, to which a body does when it reaches what it thinks it should be.(so I m told). My body did reshape and take on a different appearance within time.

I put back on a little over ten pounds and a couple of inches. I look better visually now but I feel fat, go figure! LOL

I would guess your body will play catch up. Sometimes I had to ignore the negative things people said and just moved along. People (IRL) always think they should give free advice as we lose weight. They also think they should be our food police- please..I do know what I am doing is what I would say, it's fine!. They backed off in time.

Best of luck and keep up your wonderful work.
