Taking Iron and regulating body temp

I wasn't too good with taking my Iron and for a while, I got so cold that I was constantly shivering, constantly in layers of clothes (in 90 degree weather) and my finger tips would go numb!  I then got on track with my supplements and I now take an Iron supp with my multi.  BUT, now I'm too hot!!!!  As in Hot all-the-time.  I always feel famished, tired and weak.  Can you take too much iron and have adverse affects?!  I can't deal with this almost like a constant hot flash and I have to sit in minimal clothing, under a fan at all times.  I'm just so tired of not feeling comfortable.  NEVER am I comfortable!

Any help, advice, please!

Could definitely be hormones!  I'm 30 with no female problems, that I know of.  My youngest is 2yo.

hmm.. go to the doc.
Ask them to check you hormones and the thyroids - overactive thyroid made some people hot yet tired...

Also - when I take or eat something thht my body does not like - I get hot, really hot. (almopst like it is allergic reaction to some food)
