Have a good nights sleep in your own bed. Glad your own surgeon could take care of this so you didn't have to hit the interstate.
Now baby that incision and make it behave.

I am SO sorry about the incision but really really happy that they found the problem. I really hope you start to feel better now. I am happy that someone agreed to do exploratory surgery. I was thinking about you!!!

YAY!  I'm so happy that they FINALLY listened to you and did the exploratory surgery.  I'm bummed about your full incision but so happy to know that you won't have to deal with the "mystery pain" anymore.

I wonder if it could have had anythingg to do with the mesh they used?  There are a few lawsuits going on over mesh implants these days.  Maybe worth looking into?

So glad everything else is looking fine!

I am so glad that you finally got your answer and I have to say -  I said all along that it was adhesions.  Those nasty things just dont' show up on any tests and why some surgeons won't believe us or understand this by now is beyond me. Well, hopefully this will help you out and they won't grow back.  I think I have more from my illiostomy and illiostomy reversal but I am not too eager to have more surgery.  I have had my fill for the year.   I guess we now have matching belly wounds.  I hope you heal fast.

I can't believe they sent you home so fast - I hope you got good drugs.

Lora!!!

I am so Happy to hear the mystery is solved! I'm glad that you hung in there when  the going got tough, and kept fighting the good fight. Compared to what you have been going through this recovery will be a piece if cake......I hope. I'm a little surprised they are sending you home so quickly after such a big incision, so take care of yourself and rest!

Best Wishes for a Speedy Recovery,
Kat
