Ha!  That is what my 14 year old son is for!  LOL, I was told I couldn't vacuum for about 6 weeks.  Unless I have complications, I don't expect it to be that long.  I already told him that was his job.  I got an eye-roll, but he'll do it.

I had open RNY and did fine recovering on my own.   I kept my cell phone in my pocket at all times just in case, but I never needed it.

Yeah, I'm feeling less bummed now.  He just got back from a trip so that was probably part of what was making me more sensitive to it.  I just had an endo this am and had anesthesia and am tickety boo right now.

I don't expect complication, so I'll be likely just fine after a couple of days of surgery.  Things could be a lot worse.

I had to throw my insignificant other out the day after I came home from surgery.  While that was a little "traumatic", having friends come over and help me vacuum and then take me to the store for a few days was nice.   What would we do without friends?

You will be fine.  We are all there for you in spirit any way.
