Anyone else just do the 48 hour liquid for surgery?

I had one day of full liquids and one day of clears. You should be fine. Your body will process your last meal before you have your surgery. Just be sure to stick to what you've been instructed.

Good Luck with your surgery.

I'm doing 10 days and I started today, I might die...might.  Take some magnesium citrate.  That stuff is supposed to clean you way out. Be close to a toilet and good luck with your surgery.

I am in the same boat as you had liquid yesterday and clear today and then had to drink that disgusting magnesium citrate. Very fun... Good luck tomorrow, we have the same date.

It has been awhile, but all I recall is no fast food for two weeks and ony liquids the day before.

I guess that's one of the benefits of self pay. No crazy insurance requirements.

Mine was 48 hours also. Thank God, b/c I heard some of the horror stories.

I had no special eating instructions pre-op except no food after midnight.
